My first job at LCA was in the kitchen with Mrs. Peek. I had just turned 15, was homesick, and did not know a soul. Ms Peek scared me to death! But I quickly grew to love her as anyone who knew her did. I learned a lot about work ethics and most of all, how to eat fast and get back in the kitchen to start on dishes! She will be sorely missed and I look forward to seeing her again in Heaven. I pray that we all will be there!
